That's 50 volts DC going into the batteries from the wind generator.	The silver box is the wind generator controller, it gets wired through the DC controller box to the batteries.	The cable where it crosses the back road. Ceara is there to provide scale.
Starlings (I think, could be sparrows) have built burrows in the side of our gravel pit. In the mornings and evenings they wheel around the sky near the pit eating bugs (hopefully mosquitos).	He's just such an odd dog.	I love this time of year, everything is beautiful and green. Yes, that's the tower in the background.
